How to Change Cover Photo: Your cover photo is one of the very first things a visitor sees on your Facebook page. If you are still new to  Facebook, your timeline would appear a little vacant. You would need a cover image on your Facebook account so people can locate you and you would have more friends, it makes it easier for your old friends to find you on Facebook.

The cover photo is the larger picture on your timeline. Most people select visually striking pictures or pictures that speak what  they are and exactly what they love.

• From your News Feed, click your name in the top left corner.
• Hover over Update Cover Photo in the top left of your current cover photo.
• Click Update Cover Photo. If you don't currently have a cover photo, click Add Cover Photo.
• Choose whether you want to upload a new photo, pick a photo from one of your existing photo albums or select artwork.
• Once you choose a photo, you can reposition it by clicking the image and dragging it up or down.
• Click Save Changes.
• Note: Your cover image has to be at least 720 pixels wide.
