How to create poll Facebook page

 Create Poll     No comments

How to create poll Facebook page: Creating a poll on Facebook is an easier means for users to discover what their followers prefer on a list of topics. Facebook members can also use polls to make choices from diverse opinions they would have gathered.

Facebook polling has become a tool that allows marketers, brands and bloggers to connect with potential buyers and readers in addition to uncovering what content their audience finds more interesting.Whether a brand, or everyday social media user looking for some helpful suggestions from your social network , listed below are steps on how to create a Facebook poll.

How to create a Facebook Poll

Step 1:Log in and search

First, log into your Facebook page and search “poll” in the search bar.
If you are already logged into your account, you just type into the search bar “Facebook poll” and you will get  directed right to the Polls page by selecting “Make a Poll on Your Page -Facebook.com”.

Step 2: Allow access

Select the Polls app from the drop-down list and click “Go to Polls”. You will then be asked for Poll’s permission to access your basic information and to access your profile information. Click allow to get directed to the polls page. Then you can create limitless polls that can be posted on your personal profile as well as any other pages you manage.

Step 3: Create new poll

Choose “Create a new poll” towards the top right of the page and choose which page you would like to post your poll. Fill in the content of your poll, beginning with the question you would want to receive feedback about.
Type your question in the “Question” box and your answers in the “Answers” box. You may only add one answer per line in the Answer section, as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Customize your poll

Custom tools include the ability to add photos and videos to your poll by uploading basic source code information. This is quite easy, and Facebook even offers instructions that outline the process.

To add images to your question, first locate the copy image address by right clicking on your image. You will find in the dropdown “copy image address”, which you should select. Then in your Answers box, type “<img”, paste the image address right after, and end with “>”. If you wanted a picture next to Pepsi for example, the full text on one line would read “Pepsi <imgsrc=”http://example.com/image.jpg” />

To add a video, you would follow the same process as uploading pictures. On the desired video, right click and copy “embed code”. Then in the Answers boc, instead of writing “Pepsi <img alt="" />” for images you would write “Pepsi <iframe>” for a video.</iframe>

With a little knowledge of HTML and CSS, you have the option of further decorating your poll’s answers with color and font styling elements.

Once satisfied with your Questions and Answers content, check a box if you’would like to allow voters to add other answers or if your poll is in Right-to-Left language (such as Arabic). Choose a vote button caption - which is generally just vote - and then add tags for public pages. Tags can attract more voters if you’re interested in a wealth of opinions.

Premium options

The basic Poll option allows users to write multiple answers, shows voters’ faces and displays results ordered by popularity. Premium features can be purchased for $9.99 a month or $19.99 a year for extra options such as hiding results after voting, showing comments on the poll and blocking ads - to name a few.

Facebook also offers marketing options of posting the page’s wall, wall post on poll’s Facebook, Twitter and G+ pages and advertisement of your poll to get more votes.

Step 5: Submit poll

Finally, if satisfied with your poll and Poll Package, click “Create Poll”, invite friends to your Poll page and publish your poll.

You would have successfully created a poll and you would just wait for feedback.

Search people on Facebook by place

 Facebook Search     No comments

Search people on Facebook by place: Facebook search is a very resourceful but underused feature. Most people have no idea that Facebook search could be used for very interesting searches. You can search for just about anything you want to know with the Facebook search and you be amazed with the results you would get.

We’re going to take you through the how and why of these extremely useful searches, so you’ll be able to find just about anything.

How to Search for Friends on Facebook

  • Type in your friend’s name into the search bar.
  • The results will find people you’ve friended on Facebook, friends of friends, celebrities and more, hopefully in the right order for you to find who you’re looking for.
  • You can also search directly for the email address of someone you know. If they’ve added that email address to Facebook and made it visible to you, you’ll find them straight away. And don’t forget that by importing your contacts Facebook will automatically suggest your friends that match those email addresses too.

How to Search for Someone on Facebook

Can you find someone who is not your friend on Facebook? Here’s where you can start to use some of the other search functions.

For starters, when typing in someone’s name and looking at the suggested results, Facebook will show you if you’re not connected directly to a person, as you’ll be able to add them as a friend. It would also show you how many mutual friends you have, and who those people are.

If they have a very common name, you could narrow the results down by using some of the following search tools.

How to Search by Phone Number on Facebook

You can actually search for a phone number in the regular Facebook search. This is very useful, actually.

How to Search for Posts on Facebook

This is the probably the most common Facebook search query. It’s the one where you’re looking for any news and chit-chat on a particular topic.

You can just focus on a simple keyword or you can actually make use of Facebook Graph Search to find results relevant to you. Facebook actually gives the best example of this themselves.

There is an incredible amount of information right there at your fingertips. You don’t have to limit yourself to hashtag searches when there’s so much else you can do.

How to Search History on Facebook

If you want to search just your own posts, you can use the regular search bar as above, just using “posts by me” or you can search through your activity in a different way.

Head to your activity log: https://www.facebook.com/me/allactivity

Now, you have a simple search field you can use to find things you posted, either on your own timeline, in groups or on pages. This search isn’t actually as powerful as Facebook’s graph search.

For instance, in my activity feed I could see a post I’d recently liked from a private group. I searched for a few keywords in my activity feed and it gave me no result, even though I could clearly see it right there. With the Facebook Graph Search, I threw in the same keywords and it gave me the result saying that my friend had posted about it, then took me straight to that post.

It is preferable to use the activity feed to browse, but do all of your searching in the regular Facebook Graph Search field.

How to Search for Groups on Facebook
Groups are tough, because while you can search for public or closed groups, some of the best are kept secret. They’re hidden away and you’ll never find them by searching (because they don’t want to be found).

Also, if you search for “group” followed by the topic you’re interested in, all the top suggested results will be for groups you’re already in. The best way is;
  • Just search for the keyword of the group.
  • Press enter so you get the full selection of results
  • Click on the “Groups” tab of the results to filter it properly.
This way you’ll find lots of groups for whatever niche you’re after.

How to Search by Location on Facebook

If you’re searching for anything at all to do with a particular place, just using the place name as a keyword will bring up casual comments, news, events, check-ins, and the rest. That’s the first step..

You can also get a little more specific, by phrasing your search like a regular sentence. Try “Coffee shops in Minnesota” and you’ll see all two of the shops jump out at you.

But names are re-used throughout the world and can get confusing as keywords for searches. And although Facebook does try to anticipate what you mean, eventually it has to offer more results just in case you meant something else.

But you can get even more specific too: try “Hotels in New Jersey visited by my friends” or “Places in Paris visited by people who like Ryan Gosling”. I’m sure you can think of more.

Enjoy your Facebook Search.

Reactivate my Disabled Instagram Account

Reactivate my Disabled Instagram Account: After you might have gotten as much break as u needed from your Instagram account and would want to reactivate your account, it wouldn't be a bad idea, and we would show you how in this tutorial. We would also go through how to appeal an Instagram-disabled account. If your account has been deleted, your only option is to create a new account.

\

Method 1

Reactivating a disabled Instagram Account.

  • Confirm your account has been deactivated for long enough. After choosing to deactivate your account, Instagram usually requires a few hours to finish the process. During this time, you cannot reactivate your account. When your account has been deactivated for more than a day, you should be able to log back in without any hassle.
  • Open Instagram. Tap the Instagram app icon, which looks like a multicolored camera.
  • Enter your username, email address, or phone number (log in details). Do so in the top text field. You can use any of the above listed credentials so long as they're associated with the account you want to reactivate.Depending on the screen to which Instagram loads, you may first have to tap a Log In button or link in order to view the login page.
  • Enter your password. This should be done in the "Password" text box.
  • If you can't remember your password, you would need to have it reset.
  • Then tap Log in. It's located at the bottom of the screen. As long as your login credentials are correct, doing so will log you into Instagram and reactivate your account.
  • You will need to follow any other on-screen instructions. Depending on how long your Instagram account has been deactivated, you may need to accept updated Terms of Use or verify your phone number before you can proceed to your account.
  • Logging back into your account reactivates it, so you shouldn't have to perform any reactivation steps after logging in.

Method 2

Appealing a Disabled Account

  • Again, verify that your account is suspended. Open the Instagram app and try to log in with the correct log in details. If you see a message which says "Your account has been disabled" (or something similar) appear after tapping Log in, Instagram has disabled your account for violating the Terms and conditions of Use.
  • If you get an error message that states (e.g., "Incorrect password or username"), your account hasn't been disabled by Instagram. You should try troubleshooting for a fix.
  • Open the Instagram appeal form. Go to https://help.instagram.com/contact/606967319425038 in your computer's web browser. You can use this form to request that Instagram activates your account.
  • Enter your name. In the "Full name" text box near the top of the page, enter your first and last name as it is on your Instagram account.
  • Enter your username. Type your Instagram username into the "Your Instagram Username" text box.
  • Enter your email address and phone number. Do so in the "Your email address" and "Your phone number" text boxes, respectively.
  • Enter your appeal request. In the last text box on the page, you are required to type in a brief message explaining why you think your account should not be deactivated. When writing your appeal, remember the following guidelines:
  • Explain that your account was deactivated, and you believe the deactivation to be a mistake.
  • Avoid apologizing, as doing so implies you are aware of something wrong you did..
  • Keep your tone pleasant, and try to avoid using any harsh language.
  • End your appeal with a "Thank you!".
  • Click Send. It's a blue button at the bottom of the page. Doing so will send your appeal to Instagram; if they choose to reactivate your account, you'll be able to log in when notified.
  • You can repeat the appeal process several times per day until Instagram reaches a decision.
Method 3

Troubleshooting Login Issues
  • Try logging in with your email or phone number. If the attempt to log in with your username isn't working, consider using your email address or your phone number.
  • You might also try logging in with your username if you usually use your email or phone number.
  • Your password needs to be correct regardless of your selected login credential.
  • You may need to reset your password. If you can't remember the correct password for your Instagram account, you can reset it from your phone or computer.
  • Turn off your phone's Wi-Fi when logging in. If the Instagram app (not your login information) is the problem, using cellular data instead of Wi-Fi can resolve some login issues.
  • Use a different platform to access Instagram. Your phone or computer may have cached information and that may be preventing you from logging into your account; if so, using a different phone, computer, or browser to log into your account may fix this problem.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Instagram app. In some cases, reinstalling Instagram will help resolve login issues caused by the app.
  • If your Instagram app is out-of-date, doing this will also make sure that you have the most recent version of the app.
  • Consider whether you violated Instagram's Terms of Use. If you're receiving a message that says your account doesn't exist, your account may have been deleted by Instagram due to a Terms of Use violation.
  • Common violations include posting nudity, bullying other users, promoting harmful products, and fraud.Terms of Use violations often result in your account being suspended or deleted without warning.
We hope you found this tutorial really helpful.

How to post live poll on Facebook

How to post live poll on Facebook: You may have noticed that Creating live voting videos are the hottest trend right now on Facebook; you can say that they have swept through the social media marketing community like a wave. I know that many persons would love to try this new format on their pages but don’t have an idea how to create it.

Not to worry if you have seen any complicated articles on creating a live voting, we are about to show you pretty easy steps on how to create a live voting on Facebook and we are certain you would find them useful.

Facebook Live poll

Facebook Live poll is basically a simple video consisting of the following elements: a question, two or four images representing answer options, the reactions a user is supposed to use and the last but not the least vote counters that are updated in real time.

This shows a Live poll from where it all started: Clinton vs Trump. It got more than 19 million views, 437,000+ reactions and more than 15,000 shares.

Why are Facebook Live poll videos more efficient than normal page posts?

The answer to this question is simple. Below are at least two reasons for that:

First of all, Facebook tends to push Live videos higher in the News feed. Also, live videos get an extra organic boost from the algorithm while they are live. After that, a live video is treated as a normal video post which also gets a good organic reach. In case you didn’t know, Facebook spent hundreds of millions of dollars to promote Live events. That can also mean that Facebook is right now trying to encourage people to use this feature.

Secondly, Facebook live polls are a new cool feature and people love shiny and new things. Live polls stand out in people’s feeds and attract more attention. For this reason, now is the best time to join the live poll train. You would want to be one of the first ones, rather than last, to use this new feature. This way you get the best results.

With a LIVE poll, you will ask your user a preference and they’ll answer in two ways:
  • If you are running a reactions poll, your users will have to press a reaction to express a vote. “Like” will be related to a choice, and so on.
  • If you are running an hashtag voting poll, your users will have to write an hashtag in the comments to vote for one of your choices.

If you would prefer voting with reactions, the set-up will follow these steps:
  • select a background, that can be either an image or a video. If you choose an image, you can upload also a music MP3 file to be played in loop
  • select the reactions you want to track, and place them where you wish
  • customize the counters and move them around
  • upload the images related to each reaction.
The big advantage of UpLive tool is that you can customize everything, you can move the position of an element, to wherever you want.

Sometime users prefer to upload a background video or image with already the objects to vote inside. If you are good with graphic programs, we suggest you to set up the background and upload it. You will then just need to place the counters and, eventually, the image of reactions. This is an example of a LIVE made with just a background uploaded and the counter placed:

If you would want to use the Voting with Hashtags plugin, the steps are almost similar, with a few differences:

Note: You can add a question, and place it where you wish, you can add up to 8 hashtags, since in this plugin reactions are not tracked a user will be able to vote also writing the comment without the hashtag in front of the word. This is an example.

Once this process is completed,  then you can publish the LIVE on your Facebook Page in just two steps:
  • Set a message to the Post and a duration
  • Select the Page on which you want to publish your LIVE, Then its all set.
Check your Facebook Page to ensure the the LIVE is as you were expecting, and that’s all.

We hope you have a wonderful polling experience.

Facebook Lite iPhone

Facebook Lite iPhone: Facebook Lite is a novel android app built by Facebook. It is a version of Facebook built for better compatibility with poor data connections and low-end phones.

It’s an app for the entire world, but more specifically for developing countries where data connectivity is hard to come by. Facebook Lite is very similar to the original version of Facebook and even has a few added benefits which we would show you.

Benefits of Facebook Lite

Space conservation. As a download, Facebook Lite is under 1MB, and once its  installed, it takes up just  2.82MB of space on the device. That when compared  the amount of space regular Facebook takes up, which is about 195MB. This is not an inconsequential difference.

In addition, Facebook Lite doesn’t preload photos in the way that Facebook does. It instead, downloads low resolution versions of photos that you can scroll through in your timeline, when tapped it will download the higher resolution version.

Also, when uploading photos, the images are compressed and sent to the background so that the user doesn’t have to stare at an uploading screen for minutes at a time.

User Interface

Facebook Lite is a totally redesigned app. The status posting feature has been re positioned to the top of the app (rather than a floating button in the bottom right), that has made the space bar to be shrunk down into a button.

The layout isn’t bad, it’s just different. It still has the same basic tabs ; News Feed, Friends Requests, Messages, Notifications, Search, and Options. The only challenge is you just can’t swipe between them; you have to tap them.

There is generally bigger text and buttons, which is intended for devices with low resolution screens. Yet it still has a semi-modern look with white cards over a grey background there’s just no real shading effect behind them.

In the notification panel below, you can see that the Lite version doesn’t feature the profile photos of anyone, instead opting for small, low resolution images to denote whether someone liked or commented on something. The only thing a off is that there’s no border between the notifications and the sides of the screen, making it look jam-packed.

CPU power. Other “features” have been removed, like Facebook’s in-app browser that many people disable anyway.

Scrolling through the Lite app is noticeably less cooler than scrolling through regular Facebook. It’s obvious they made some adjustments to allow it to function properly on devices with low RAM and low
All in all, the app is certainly usable, its just a bit less smooth than the regular Facebook app.

Security and Privacy

Some people think the regular Facebook application’s permissions to be a bit invasive. You can see all of those below.

It looks like a long list, but Facebook Lite’s list is nearly as long:

The major differences include Facebook has permissions to set/change the wallpaper, change audio settings, read/toggle sync settings, and expand/collapse the status bar. So nothing too dramatic.

Basically, if regular Facebook’s permissions are too invasive for you, Facebook Lite’s probably are as well. Your best bet to avoid permissions is simply to access Facebook’s mobile website via your favorite browser, and for safety, access Facebook via Tor.

However, if you also use Facebook’s messaging feature, there is another app you might have to consider: Facebook Messenger. Below are some (but not all) of Facebook Messenger’s permissions.

Most notable here is that Messenger has the permission to send SMS messages, and if that worries you, then rest assured that Facebook Lite does have the messaging feature built-in, it’s just a bit toned down. Let’s take a look at that.

Messaging with Facebook Lite.

Since Facebook Lite includes the messaging feature, some people might prefer to download it instead of the Facebook + Messenger combo. A while back, Facebook decided to force all of its app users to download Messenger if they wanted to continue using the messaging service.

But if you would want to make this switch, how does Lite compare to messenger? You can see for yourself. Lite is below on the left, and Messenger is below on the right.

Lite is obviously not as attractive as Messenger. Message bubbles are represented in blocks and don’t include timestamps or read receipts. But the core messaging feature is present. If you found Messenger to be too ambiguous, Lite might just be the messaging app you were looking for anyway.

If you are a lover of Facebook stickers, then you’ll be pleased to know that even the Lite version supports them. However, their organization is beyond poor. You’ll have access to just a limited number of emoji and a very random listing of stickers. It’s functional, but not great.

Facebook lite is almost as good as the original version of Facebook, and you might want to consider getting it.

Facebook Login Forgot Password

Facebook Login Forgot Password: If you have several passwords and you don't use a password manager you can have issues remembering them.If you’ve forgotten your Facebook password, you cant recover the password, but it’s possible to recover your account by resetting your password to something else.

If you've forgotten your Facebook password, or someone else changed it without your permission, Facebook offers a pretty simple way to recover. We are referring to recovering your account if you totally forgot your password

Recovering Your Password
  • After you have gone though an unsuccessful login attempt, Facebook should show you a “Recover Your Account” button under the password field.Click that.
  • Enter the email address you used to sign up for your Facebook account, and then click the “Search” button.
  •  Facebook shows you on the results screen  if it finds a match. Click the “This Is My Account” button.
  • Depending on the type of information you provided when you set up your account (and the security settings you configured), you may be presented with different options to reset your password. Choose a preferred method, and then click the “Continue” button.
  • Have Facebook Send a Code by Email
  • After you have received the code in the email you used to set up your account, you can click the “Click here to change your password” link, and then copy the reset code and paste it into the Facebook site. It’s easier to just click the “Change Password” button in the email and bypass the whole code entry process.
  • Either of the options will take you to the same place, that is a screen prompting you to type a new password. Choose a strong password, and then click the “Continue” button.
  • If you connected your Gmail account to Facebook when you signed up, alternatively  you also can log into Google to gain immediate access to reset your Facebook password. This bypasses the process of  confirmation email and code being sent to your email address at all.
  • A pop-up window will open with a secure login screen for your Gmail account. Click on the account you signed up with.
  • On the next screen, type your Google password, and click the “Next” button.
  • Type the new Facebook password you want to use, and then click the “Continue” button.
  • Resetting Active Sessions After Changing Your Password
Facebook gives you the option to log out of active sessions on other devices or stay logged in after you have changed your password.

If you just forgot your password and believe your account is safe, and don’t want to go through the process of signing in again on other devices, go ahead and choose the “Stay Logged In” option.

If you aren't convinced of the security of your account, choose the “Log Out Of Other Devices” option instead. All current sessions on your PC, phone, tablet, and so on will be signed out, and you’ll need to sign in on them again using your new password.

  • Next you’ll be taken through a couple steps to help secure your account. If you suspect that someone may have compromised your details in the account, Facebook can check to see whether there have been any recent changes to your basic information (name, profile picture, and so on), installed apps, and your activity.
  • Click “Go To News Feed” and you’re done.
Setting up Better Security

Other than just using a standard password, Facebook provides multiple options for keeping your account safe. You can set up two-factor authentication, specify authorized devices on which you can sign in, name trusted contacts, and more. Reviewing these settings can really help keep your Facebook account secure.

We hope this went went a very long way to help you.
