After you click on the “Download a copy…” link, you’ll be brought to a page where you can download everything you’ve done on your Facebook account since the birth of your account. Then proceed by clicking on the green button that says “Start My Archive.”

• After you click the green button, the small dialog box “Request My Download,” will open, informing you it can take a while (typically 2-3 hours) to gather all of your information. Click “Start My Archive” again to launch the gathering process.

• You’ll be requested to go to the email account associated with your Facebook profile where a download link to your archive will be sent. It may still take about 2-3 hours to arrive. Once it does, click on the link in the email to download your archive.

• You will need to enter password before you can download archive.

• Finally, click on “Download Archive” button that presents after entering your password. Your archive will download to your computer, it comes like a zip folder. Unzip it, then open the file named “index.”

• The file containing your archived data will open, click on “Messages” and all of your past messages will load.

• Search by keyword,to easily find the message you’re looking for. Press “CTRL + F” or “F3” to access the keyword search process, and that’s it. Once you find the message, copy and paste the contents into a Word document to save.

If you want to search just your own posts, you can use the regular search bar as above, just using “posts by me” or you can search through your activity in a different way.

With the Facebook Graph Search, I threw in the same keywords and it gave me the result saying that my friend had posted about it, then took me straight to that post.

It is preferable to use the activity feed to browse, but do all of your searching in the regular Facebook Graph Search field.

Groups are tough, because while you can search for public or closed groups, some of the best are kept secret. They’re hidden away and you’ll never find them by searching (because they don’t want to be found).

Also, if you search for “group” followed by the topic you’re interested in, all the top suggested results will be for groups you’re already in. The best way is;

• Just search for the keyword of the group.
• Press enter so you get the full selection of results
• Click on the “Groups” tab of the results to filter it properly. 

This way you’ll find lots of groups for whatever niche you’re after.

Facebook probably supports your own language so that you can read everything in what's comfortable to you. If you've already changed your Facebook language, you can also read Facebook in English (or any language) again in just a few easy steps.

There are two primary ways to choose a different language for Facebook. If you're on a computer, you can do so from the Language area of your account settings or from the News Feed page. However, if you're using the mobile app, the steps are entirely different between Android and iOS.

Picking a Different Language to Use on Facebook
It's easy to change the language in which Facebook displays text. Either access the Language Settings page through this link and then skip down to Step 4 or follow these steps in order:

• Select Settings at the bottom of that menu.

Another way to change the language you see on Facebook is via the News Feed:

Another option is to click the plus (+) sign to see all of the supported languages. Select a language from that screen to immediately apply it to your Facebook.

If you're using Facebook on a mobile browser, you can change the language from the menu button:

Step 2: Allow access

Step 3: Create new poll

Type your question in the “Question” box and your answers in the “Answers” box. You may only add one answer per line in the Answer section, as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Customize your poll

Custom tools include the ability to add photos and videos to your poll by uploading basic source code information. This is quite easy, and Facebook even offers instructions that outline the process.

To add images to your question, first locate the copy image address by right clicking on your image. You will find in the dropdown “copy image address”, which you should select. Then in your Answers box, type “<img”, paste the image address right after, and end with “>”. If you wanted a picture next to Pepsi for example, the full text on one line would read “Pepsi <imgsrc=”http://example.com/image.jpg” />

To add a video, you would follow the same process as uploading pictures. On the desired video, right click and copy “embed code”. Then in the Answers boc, instead of writing “Pepsi <img alt="" />” for images you would write “Pepsi <iframe>” for a video.</iframe>

With a little knowledge of HTML and CSS, you have the option of further decorating your poll’s answers with color and font styling elements.

Once satisfied with your Questions and Answers content, check a box if you’would like to allow voters to add other answers or if your poll is in Right-to-Left language (such as Arabic). Choose a vote button caption - which is generally just vote - and then add tags for public pages. Tags can attract more voters if you’re interested in a wealth of opinions.

Premium options

The basic Poll option allows users to write multiple answers, shows voters’ faces and displays results ordered by popularity.
