Unfriended Friends on Facebook: Sometimes you start to feel like people are cramming your Facebook page and you may want to unfriend some especially the ones you are not close to. Or you and your friend may have drifted or fallen out over some issue. We would be showing you how to unfriend people you no longer want as friends on Facebook.
Steps To Unfriend Someone
- Go to the Timeline of the person you wish to unblock.
- Click the Friends button.
- A menu appears that is for assigning people to Friend Lists. The last item in this list is Unfriend.
- Click the Unfriend link.
- A window pops up asking if you’re sure you want to remove this friend.
- Click the Remove from Friends button.

Facebook doesn't notify them when you unfriend them, but some of your close friends have a tendency to notice on their own that,you’re not in their list of friends anymore. This can lead to some form of awkwardness, so you may want to consider using your privacy settings to further limit these people’s knowledge of your life before you unfriend them.
Most people carry out periodic friend-cleaning. For example, after relocation, you may notice that you want to keep in touch with some people from that chapter in your life; others you may want to unfriend.
